Community guidelines! Isn't that suspect?

IF they were "community guidelines" then they would have been written by the community of Yahoo users, NOT the Yahoo corporation. Community my eye!

Bingo. Truer words have never been spoken. Okay, maybe some truer words have been uttered, but they have to do with Answers Jane and suggestions what she can do with a sharp object.

Good point.
the guidelines are only used when it suites them

I don't give a **** about my points anymore.

I get violated for nothing, and real quick...

but my reports go ignored.

So I don't ******* care anymore!
That's silly. The corporation created a "community" and made guidelines for it's use. You're interpreting it just a bit differently, from another perspective.

People who try to interpret the IRS code to find tax loopholes do the same thing, and then find out in court that the IRS gets to make up their own definitions.

In any case, the old axiom applies ... "He who owns the gold makes the rules."
